Next Meeting:

The next meeting will be a teleconference on Tuesday, 1/19/99,
from 9-11 am PDT.

Details:
1. Discuss Cadence/Ambit, IBM strawmen

A vote on whether to accept the Cadence/Ambit strawman is being
taken between 1/5 and 1/18.

The IBM donation is stuck in red tape despite attempts by Jim
and Bob to work directly with the Einstimer manager. Jim proposed
that IBM may have to fall back on reviewing the DC-WG work and
providing feedback to make sure that all of the Einstimer constraints
are supported by the standard. It may be easier to get the Einstimer
educational material as a reference than to do a formal strawman.

At the end of January, Jim is doing a seminar within IBM where he'll
present what's happening with DC-WG.

2. Review progress on action items

There wasn't much progress on the action items due to the holidays.

Thanks,
Mark
