Dear OVI Working Group Member,
Open Verilog International and VHDL International are set to complete the
unification of our organizations to create Accellera. With this completion,
I would like to ensure that I have shared with all of you the short list of
rules by which the organization will conduct business at the technical
working group level.
In essence, there are limited changes since most of the Accellera bylaws
for the technical working groups will parallel the current OVI bylaws with
the one exception of Individual Member. We have picked up the Individual
Membership level which VHDL International had. However, you will note, this
level of membership comes with significantly reduced membership privileges.
There will be three levels of membership in the organization. Please
refer to the attached PDF for additional information on the membership
levels and benefits. As it relates to technical working group activities,
your level of membership confers certain rights to you. Further, there will
be only one vote per company allowed when votes are called in the technical
working groups.

If you are interested in discussing your level of participation in the

this message. The Accellera organization can guarantee organization
Corporate Membership rights. Board of Director rights are secured through
an election process. At the DAC meeting, an election of the Corporate
Members will be conducted to determine the organization's board of
directors. In order to be eligible for election, you must be a Corporate
Member.
