Updates included changes to the [Pin Mapping] and series element descriptions, plus minor editorial fixes. The differential section was untouched. Arpad Muranyi provided a lengthy list of corrections to various issues in the document. Additionally, the Cookbook Committee identified the following changes: - correct the [Pin Mapping] diagram to match the example given - include a package block in the series element diagram - update the [Pin Mapping] text to remove references to POWER and GND as model names - update the series example to correct the Vds values in the comments - update the [Ramp] description to include statements on the lack of turn-off characteristics - correct statements on die capacitance to include references to packaging and on-die decoupling - change the I/O buffer diode connection diagram to show where diode effects are included among IBIS keywords Michael reiterated his intent to revise Chapter 4, on data inclusion in IBIS format, before moving on to Chapter 3 on data extraction from lab or simulation. ARs --- M. Mirmak - make changes noted above, including those noted by Arpad ======================================================================== FUTURES MINUTES A brief discussion was held on the status of the IBIS 4.1 parser. Additionally, Michael presented more of his IBIS treatment proposals for linking to ICM. Bob Ross noted that his IIRD8.1 will enable linking, but that [Circuit Call] looks like the cleanest ICM-IBIS interfacing mechanism. This will be discussed in more detail in an upcoming meeting.
