UNOFFICIAL VERSION 4.2 - WORK IN PROGRESS (ver4.2_wip)


This directory contains UNOFFICIAL interim rollups of changes and approved
BIRDS into a DRAFT of VERSION 4.2 - the next planned upgrade of IBIS.

IBIS VERSION 4.2 UNOFFICIAL VERSIONS

  IBIS Version 4.1 was ratified on January 30, 2004.  The ratified
  version is under the directory /pub/ibis/ver4.1.  This document shows
  the changes in preparation for and IBIS Version 4.2 release.

  ver4_2a.ibs   Draft IBIS of IBIS Version 4.2 showing inclusion of
                approved BIRD87 and editorial header updates in
                in preparation for the new IBIS release.  Date has
                been arbitrarily reset to an estimated approval date
                of June 8, 2004.                
                - March 5, 2004

  ver4_2b.ibs   Draft IBIS of IBIS Version 4.2 showing inclusion of
                approved BIRD89.1.  Date has been arbitrarily reset
                to an estimated approval date
                of September 17, 2004.                
                - June 4, 2004

  ver4_2c.ibs   Draft IBIS of IBIS Version 4.2 showing inclusion of
                approved BIRD88.3.       
                - July 16, 2004

  ver4_2d.ibs   Draft IBIS of IBIS Version 4.2 showing inclusion of
                approved BIRD90.2.       
                - November 2, 2004

  ver4_2e.ibs   Draft IBIS of IBIS Version 4.2 showing inclusion of
                approved BIRD91.3 and BIRD93.1.  Date has been arbitrarily
                reset to an estimated approval date of March 4, 2005 and
                the Year has been changed to 2005.

  ver4_2f.ibs   Draft IBIS of IBIS Version 4.2 showing inclusion of
                approved BIRD92.1.       
                - January 28, 2005

  ver4_2g.ibs   Draft IBIS of IBIS Version 4.2 showing inclusion of
                approved BIRD96.  Date has been arbitrarily reset to an
                estimated approval date of June 3, 2005.  Some minor
                editorial corrections such as repeated keywords, spelling
                errors, double spaces etc. were done.  No |* comments
                are used for this.
