Accellera Technical Excellence Award
We are now accepting nominations for the 2007 Technical Excellence Award
The award will be presented at this year's open Membership Meeting at  
DAC in June 2007
Accellera wishes to recognize the outstanding achievements of its  
technical committee members. This is done by selecting an outstanding  
contributor to the Accellera standards development process as a  
recipient of the Accellera Technical Excellence Award.

This is an annual award to recognize major contributions to the  
development of standards in Accellera. Examples of such contributions  
may include leadership in standardization of new technologies,  
assuring achievement of standards development goals, identifying  
opportunities to better serve the needs of the industry through  
standards.

The award recipient will be announced at the annual Accellera  
membership meeting at DAC so that the membership can show its  
appreciation to the individual chosen and celebrate the excellence of  
their achievements.

Eligibility

Any member of an Accellera Technical Committee is eligible for the  
award.

Nomination Criteria

A candidate for the Accellera Technical Excellence Award may be  
nominated by any member of an Accellera Technical Committee.  
Nominations must include the following information:

Candidate's name, address, and affiliation.
Brief description of the specific achievements that justify the award
Why those achievements are important to the industry
Names of at least two but not more than five co-sponsors of the  
nominee who are also members of Accellera TCs and represent at least  
two different affiliations.
Nominations must be submitted to Accellera on or before April 5, 2007  
using our online nomination form.
Selection
The award recipient will be selected from the valid nominations  
received by the Accellera Awards Committee (AAC) and approved by the  
Accellera board of directors. The AAC will initially be comprised of  
the Marketing Committee plus the Accellera Chair. The composition of  
this committee may be changed from time to time by the approval of  
the board of directors.
