[$ieee-1850] IEEE P1850 Co-Chair Change

Dear Group,

It has been an honor having Avigail serve as the P1850 co-chair this  
past year.  However, for 2008, Sitvanit and Avigail have decided to  
consolidate their roles, and Avigail has resigned.   To ensure the we  
follow procedures specified in our P&P, we must hold an election for a  
new officer once an officer steps down.  In the interim before our  
election, I have asked the IEEE DASC to approve Sitvanit as the  
temporary co-chair, and they agreed to this during their December  
meeting.   We will discuss the election process for both co-chair and  
a new secretary during our next full committee meeting on Monday  
January 28.
