VASG Issue Number: 0019 Comment Author: Paul Menchini Comment Number: 01 Comment Date: 1991/03/14 There are still some problems in the resolution to this issue, especially in Clarifications 2 and 3. Consider the actuals "L+1" and "1+L". They are treated differently! The intent of the introduction of "leftmost" was to treat the type conversion function reference differently from the formal or actual being type converted with respect to visibility. Perhaps the best approach is to split items 7-11 into multiple cases, one for non-type converted formals and actuals, and the other for type converted formals and actuals. In any case, other elements of visibility need extensive work (e.g., see Issue Report 0041), so this can be straightened out for 1076-1992.
