Comments on IR2043

Folks,

I just looked at IR2043, which I presume you reviewed in my absence during
last week's telecon. In case it's relevant, I've made some suggestions in
Fast Track proposal FT05A for extending the specification of the string
representation of a type - see

Basically, I've attempted to define the string representation systematically
for all values of all types. If this is adopted, it would address the issue
in IR2043.
