It occurs to me that I haven't been keeping people in the loop on the IR approval process. Formerly, when I got enough positive votes (three out of five) with no negative votes, I forwarded the approved IRs on to the VASG head, without informing the ISAC. What I propose to do is the following: When an IR gets enough votes to pass, I'll send an email to the ISAC. Members have a short time (one working day?) to respond. If I get no complaints, I'll forward the IR to the VASG. If you want more time to examine an IR, then send me an email and I'll hold it up. But I don't want to delay the approval process for those who are either too busy to look at an IR or who don't really care about a particular IR. If you have a different idea, please let me know, and we'll consider alternatives. So, IRs 2042, 2048, and 2051have received 3 positive votes and no negative votes. I plan on forwarding these to Steve in a day or so. Chuck SwartReceived on Wed Mar 9 13:56:52 2005
