Dear colleagues,

We are about to start Working Group votes on proposed changes to the VHDL
standard. The plan is to vote on VHDL-200x-FT proposals and on
recommendations from the ISAC. We will batch these up so you're not
overwhelmed. Subsequently, we will vote on detailed language change
specification (LCSs), prepared by the LRM editor (that's me), that implement
approved proposals.

As a first step, we need to review the voting constituency and make sure
that those who wish to participate are eligible.

You can find the roster of voting members as of the last vote at

  http://www.eda.org/vhdl-200x/VASG-Voting-Members.htm

In order to be a voting member, you need to be a current DASC member. You
also need to maintain activity by participating 2 out of the last 3 votes or
meetings. The roster lists those who have.

If you wish to participate, could you please check the following:

- Make sure your DASC membership is current, and if not, renew it.
(See www.dasc.org for the renewal form.)

- If you're not listed on the roster, please let me know, and provide name,
affiliation, email address, mailing address, phone/fax numbers, and IEEE
number if you are an IEEE member. (The IEEE requires this information as
part of their indemnification process.)

Would you please attend to this by Friday, April 1st. I'll initiate the
first of the votes starting then. Thank you.

If you have any questions about this, I'd be pleased to help answer them.

Best regards,

Peter Ashenden
