the VHDL-93 wording gives the following (partial) rule for producing the sensitivity set for a wait statement: "For each primary in the condition of the condition clause, if the primary is ... -- an expanded name whose prefix denotes a signal, add the longest static prefix of the name to the sensitivity set" This phrase was inadvertently dropped from VHDL-2002 and is not accurate, because the prefix doesn't denote a signal. I propose that the wording be changed to: "-- an expanded name whose suffix denotes a signal, add the longest static prefix of the name to the sensitivity set" This looks a little strange, but it seems to work in all cases. Think about this for tonight's meeting. Chuck Swart -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.Received on Thu Jun 19 13:17:19 2008
