Minutes of ISAC meeting held via telecon on 02 July 2008

TOPIC: Review of draft ballot resolution document


Ballot comment #12 said:  
> P237 L64: "...by concatenating the to left of the expanded bit..." should 
> read "...by concatenating to left of the expanded bit..."

The corrected text should read "...by concatenating to <the> left of the expanded bit..."

ACTION: LRM writer (Peter) to make sure that correction is incorporated and
that ballot resolution document is updated. 

Ballot comment #4 was a negative vote which requested that support for VHPI
be optional. The submitter agreed to a compromise, in which a note is
added to the LRM to indicate that a very minimal level of support is compliant.
The LRM committee believes that the VHPI committee should be kept informed
concerning the status of this issue:

ACTION: Chuck to contact VHPI group to make sure that they are aware of
this issue.

The ballot resolution document also describes Bugzilla issue 62, which had
been incorporated into a previous version

ACTION: Peter to remove description of Bugz 62 from ballot resolution doc.

A few additional small changes to the ballot resolution document were also
proposed and accepted.

ACTION: Peter to incorporate all changes to ballot resolution doc.

TOPIC: verifiy resolved issues before D4.2

These issues were supposed to be verified against earlier versions than
D4.2, but somehow were missed. It was decided to verify them against D4.2

ACTION: change status from Resolved to Verified (done)

Not verified:

195  Missing rule for base type of an external name

There was a very small typo (duplicated word) which needs to be fixed.
