AXYS Design Automation, Inc.
The majority of newest designs starts today with the architecture
exploration, trade-off analysis and early software
development using fast and accurate abstract models.
For this first part of the design flow, the cycle- and
transaction-based abstract representation has proven to
offer the best trade-off between the need for high
execution speed, right amount of timing details and
observability/controlability of the relevant hardware
and software aspects. AXYS' MaxCore/LISA, MaxSim and
MaxLib line of products and related technology helps
the customers to execute, debug, analyze and distribute
their new designs on low costs general purpose
Solaris/Windows/Linux and HP-UX computers.
W.r.t. the previous ITC group and the SCE-API subgroup
efforts, as the majority of other participants, we would
like to see the group broaden its scope and look beyond the
emulation interfaces. We are also very interested to see
a richer set of interfaces with focus on software
simulation and debugging.
AXYS can commit 2 days per months for this effort.
