Brian,

I would like to throw IM's 208-211 fairly close to the top
of the list.

I feel that there are some unifying concepts that we may be
able to converge on that really consolidate these and clear
some of the questions on pipes and streaming in general.
So, perhaps when "Proposal to close issue 211" comes up we
can discuss these.
