	Status report Jason and Brian are working on an abstract. 

Splitting the document and/or working groups
	splitting the document and/or working groups by various principles 
		was discussed.   There will be a follow on discussion, 
		tentatively scheduled for February 4.  The goal would be to 
		clarify the exposition of any new standard and to draw more
		model writers into the group.
