Table 11-1 "Comparison of pointer and handle types" specifies for SV chandle that "unreferenced objects are garbage collected".
I suppose that this is an error. This statement seems to contradict 26.4.1.4 "Memory management".
Objects referenced to by chandles are allocated in a memory space that is beyond the control of SV. They cannot be garbage collected.
