   Perhaps it is a bit too late now for getting this into
   LRM. But I will put this into our post-3.1 issue
   list.

I am also cc-ing David so that he can put this in his
global errata list.

that "unreferenced objects are garbage collected".
I suppose that this is an error. 
This statement seems to contradict 26.4.1.4 "Memory management".
Objects referenced to by chandles are allocated in a memory space that is 
beyond the control of SV. They cannot be garbage collected.
