It may be confusing to say that a vpiVarBit _can be_ either
a vpiBitVar or a vpiLogicVar. How about saying something
like "a vpiVarBit can be _an element of_ a 2-state (vpiBitVar)
or a 4-state (vpiLogicVar) scalar variable, whereas vpiRegBit
_could only be part of_ a 4-state (vpiReg) scalar variable"?
