List of top 25 issues and categories: ------------------------------------------------------ We are requested to create a list by May 13 2010. (by the working group) Spreadsheet is placed on google doc, You can view the spreadsheet here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=tLbzCTXi7KL3iNZjb_kXIfA&hl=en 5 members are on the google doc: Heath, Don, Gord, Dave, Neil S., Jonathan - there are a lot of simple items. Can we combine them? Gord - low, med, high on level of difficulty in addressing it. Steven - it might make sense to flag some that can't be done. Jonathan - flag those that one person could do without help. Mehdi - the list of items is now the final list. Tom - top 25 out of all 200? Mehdi - we can extend it to more than 25 if necessary. Tom - svbc has only 80 or so open items Mehdi - eveyone vote on top 25 mantis items. - spread out to other categories if all 25 in one category Mehdi - we need mantis items for those items that don't yet have one. Mehdi - wants votes by next wednesday, and will collect the data. Dave - issues on the process - producing the list is to ensure what people want, we have time to work on them. Need to tell WG if not enough time. - there are tons of clarifications. Not all will make it to the top 25. Mark - we should always be able to fix typos Dave - we should also be able to do clarifications. - This list should be the stuff beyond typos and clarifications. Mehdi - agrees with these points - still wants to categorize 1-25, even if a typo - will add a column for effort level required. Dave - it would be good to show if an item is a clarfication or enhance AI/Mehdi - add a column for enhancement versus clarification AI/Mehdi - add a column for amount of work required. AI/Mehdi - add sheets for the various categores in the Google doc. Tom - the effort level is for implementation or our LRM effort? Steven - this is the effort for this group. Tom - agrees that this is a good time to end and work on this. Mehdi - the p1800 web site. He will email it out. Gord - 4/21/2010 - there is a link in that email to this doc. AI/Mehdi - send out a link to the p1800 spreadsheet. 3046 - clarification, low 3028 - med effort 3016 - high 3014 - low (David Scott) Ray - come from the executing thread 3013 - low 3012 - low (Gord - there is a proposal, thinks it is just terminology) 3007 - med (due to differences of opinion) 3006 - low 3004 - med 3003 - high 3002 - high (very high) 3001 - low 3000 - med 2999 - med 2998 - low 2997 - high 2996 - high 2995 - high (new feature) - more than just classes (general exceptions) 2994 - high - virtual interfaces, possibly in svbc, cross-committee? 2993 - med to high 2990 - med 1 2989 - med 2 2988 - med 3 2987 - med 2986 - med 2985 - - svbc?(Gord thinks no) Tom get clarification on it - Dave thinks it is already in the LRM. 2984 - high 2974 - low 2972 - high (Gord) - this probably addresses constructors as well. (Steven - this should not have been allowed in the first place) 2522 - low (Ray) 2506 - med to high (Dave) 2505 - low (Gord) 2488 - med (Francoise) 2487 - duplicate (Gord) see 3001 2474 - med (Dave) 2471 - med (Gord) 2470 - close? (Francoise - thinks we have already clarified this) Steven - thinks there might be some loopholes in accessing super(?) Francoise - it currently says it is undefined. 2467 - med - (Mark - could be easy or a lot of work; saying no would be easy) 2451 - med - (Steven - leaving off the body of the extern) (Gord - there will be some discussion) 2432 - low 2429 - duplicate - (Steven); 2470 - Gord (at least related to it) 2401 - low 2397 - low (Dave) 2390 - med (Gord) some thinking and discussion required 2385 - Dupliate (Ray - this is related to class - see 2354?) 2382 - med (Gord - there are a bunch of details in this one) 2363 - low - Jonathan - a clarification 2352 - low (Dave) 2350 - low (Gord) 2349 - high (Gord) - Steven thinks it could be high 2329 - med (Steven - deferred immediately assertions defined something weird about disable - they meant to say outermost block, not scope). 2325 - low (Jonathan - the meaning is clear) 2303 - low (Dave) 2287 - low (Gord) 2286 - med (Gord) 2277 - low 2245 - med (Steven) 2244 - med (Gord) 2241 - low (Steven - the answer is yes) 2223 - med (Steven - a messy working thing) (Gord - this one is being handled in the svbc) 2185 - med (Ray) 2176 - low 2117 - high 2112 - med (Dave, Gord, Steven) 2085 - low (Dave) 2080 - low (Gord thinks this is already done) 2073 - low (Gord) 2055 - low (Jonathan we went through this already and decided not to do it) 2030 - low 2022 - low (David Scott) 2020 - med duplicate?
