reset method

Does the reset method throw an sc_kill_exception, or another named
exception that can be caught and handled by the user, or an anonymous
exception that is implementation-specific and not intended to be caught
and handled?

Given that sc_kill_exception can be caught, it would seem consistent if
something similar applied for an immediate reset.
