Process control question

Just a random thought - are there or should there be any rules in the
LRM regarding the use of process kill/reset etc and the interaction with
sc_trace? E.g. if you trace a variable declared in front of the infinite
loop of an sc_thread and then reset the thread, what happens? Or is it
just a matter of "caveat emptor"?
