All,
As of Friday afternoon GMT, the status of the P1666 draft LRM review is:
91 issues raised
18 issues still open
Of the 18 open issues, 7 issues are requests for clarifications to the
description of the process control extensions, which I will address early
next week
The other 11 open issues are
* The semantics of immediate notifications in the presence of static
sensitivity raised by David. In my opinion this is an important semantic
issue, and needs to be resolved.
* TLM-2.0 AT timing and the response exclusion rule
* The values of the SC/TLM_IS_PRERELEASE macros: TRUE/FALSE or true/false
* Changing the name of DECLARE_EXTENDED_PHASE to
TLM_DECLARE_EXTENDED_PHASE
* Warnings from sc_start(0) with no activity, and an API to advance
simulation step-by-step
* Should SC_CTHREAD still be forbidden within end_of_elaboration?
* When paused, precisely which actions should cause errors?
* Do we need to change the version of C++ cited in the LRM?
* Is it allowed to reset() a process before it has first been executed?
* What happens when sc_get_current_process_handle() is called from sc_main
during elaboration?
* Review the STARC state chart slide
Please study the threads on the reflector and give your feedback on each
of these open issues as a matter of urgency.
Thanks,
John A
