Entity organization has a prove track record for this. Charles Gardiner Important to include users in group organization John Aynsley Need relevant work. In addition to technical work, need good marketing. Victor Berman Tighter integration of existing things Victor proposed to provide a report to accompany the PAR. AI: Jim to collect input for report Reality is this: DASC is going to ask questions about the intent of the SG as to what type of work will be done. If we do not collect input on this, the SG chair will have to speak to it anyway. It would be better to express the opinion of the SG, rather than the SG chair. In either case, the SG cannot obligate the WG to a particular course of action. Some input as to what verification means to the SG: John Shields: Tighter integration with existing solutions Paul Colin Gloster: Provide VHDL with capability to do verification without requiring other languages Action Items: Do email vote on par and WG organization Jim : collect input on information for report to DASC
