$table_model proposal

While doing some real work with tables at Antrim, I have found that it
would be very useful to be able to specify log scales, for dependent and
independent variables, and then interpolate accordingly. This way the
data file can be understood by a human being. (I am assuming that there
is no function provided to read the file source data into an array.)
Imagine looking at dB versus LOG of frequency in the data file.
dB versus frequency makes much more sense to an ordinary user. Since the
process of generating the table data (characterization) is generally
separate from using the table data in a model (simulation), a convenient
way of checking the data file is highly desirable.
And yes, the function is needed, because calibration data for a module
is not generally available at compile time.

Thanks for listening
