Subject: RE: Are you calling in?

Sri,

Martin, Kevin, and Jim B were all on the call for a while.

Basically we talked a bit about:

1) DC Sweep with Digital impact. It was believed that you are writing a
proposal on this.

2) mfactor: device modeling vs netlisting passing

CDS to provide proposal on rational, requirements, constraints and possible
implementation on mfactor passing. We've already implemented this
functionality and have dealt with most of the issues the committee needs to
address. Kevin still looking to use array of instances to "mimic" this
functionality but push is to first understand requirements before we define
the syntax.

Device model mfactor just about done. Kevin had concerns over "$" since it
implies it can be overwritten but it is not really the concern of the DM
committee which is more focused on the semantic and not the syntax.

3) Keyword conflict with SysVerilog "logic"- proposed changing AMS
examples to use domainlogic rather than logic to describe the digital
domain/discipline. This is not a formal keyword but since it shows up in
the disciplines.vams file it is becoming a problem with customers
attempting to use SystemVerilog and Verilog-AMS together.

Another keyword causing problems in the digital community is "sin" which is
often used as "s" "in". No proposal for this at this time but just a
reminder we need to be careful when adding keywords.

Agreed that you would send out an agenda and meeting invite for the next
meeting.

Jon
