minutes of: Verilog-AMS conf call Aug 2

We finished reviewing draft "f" of the AMS LRM (2.2).

Issues noted:
* Syntax 3-2 on p26 needs localparam declaration
  (this is in Annex A, but missing here)
* Section 7:
 - constants module could be an example, but should not
   be a subsection (7.1.2)
 - Colin and Geoffrey to work on resolving Monte-Carlo
 - Might have $random(const_arg,"mismatch"|"process")
   as a constant_expression for parameter defaults;
   M-C analysis would then update the seed internally.
 - Still useful to have $random(const_arg) even if
   there are unresolved issues for Monte-Carlo
* Section 10:
 - $simparam paragraphs should be combined
 - 10.2,3 may be affected by ongoing Monte-Carlo work
 - 10.3: seed is an argument, not a parameter as written
   in the existing LRM
 - Table 10-6 needs "*" for multiplication
 - Table references after 10-6 were not updated when
   10-6 was added
 - Why is $table_model needed at all? David Root of
   Agilent was requesting additional features, including
   stiff splines / data filtering. Action item to
   contact him to see if table_model can't be written
   in Verilog-AMS with $fopen and existing mathematics.
* Section 11: should specify that users should not use
  macros starting with __VAMS_, since LRM uses that
  prefix (__VAMS_ENABLE__, __VAMS_COMPACT_MODELING__)
 

Further changes that were not in "f" but will be in the
next draft:
* Open issues:
 11: change text to "DC Sweep for mixed-signal not defined"
 12: delete; syntax will be corrected
 17: delete; table footnotes addressed issue
 29: delete; ^& and ^| will be added to the BNF (Annex A)
     and to a few tables in Section 4.
 31: delete; sentence added to say UDFs return scalars
 34: add new: logic discipline conflicts with SV keyword
