In LRM 2.1, the syntax Dave writes was not included, making

I(t,b) <+ C * ddt(V(t,b));

illegal, yet this syntax was actually presented in an example!
I think, but am not sure, that I left this issue alone in LRM 2.2,
since it was not specifically compact-modeling-related and thus
was outside the scope of my mandate.

As Dave notes, the 2.3 LRM cleans up a lot of this.
