Marq,
I think you must have missed this. The suggestion was to deprecate mcds
in the analog block on the basis that they are not to believed to be
that useful.
 
As you have concerns, lets discuss it again at this weeks meeting.

	One small comment to your minutes: I do not recall discussing in
the meeting to deprecate the multiple channel descriptors. Did I miss
something? 
	
	The multiple channel descriptors have an advantage over the
normal file descriptors that you can combine them to write to multiple
file in one command. If digital doesn't deprecate them, then I would
suggest that we don't either.

	* create a section 10.2.1 for $driver functions.
	
	* say @(driver_update(..) not driver_update in the table in

	read/write in same iteration is not supported.
