On the conf call yesterday, we had the impression that the LRM prohibits OOMR contributions to switch branches, but we were having trouble tracking it down. In LRM 2.2, section 5.3.1.3 Value retention, I found this: "It is illegal to contribute to an external switch branch from within an analog block." What's not explicitly said is that it would be illegal to make an external branch a switch branch by means of a contribution from within an analog block. Eg, a module has I(br) <+ 5; and then a second module tries to set V(A.br) <+ 0; This would have the effect of converting br into a switch branch, and then the contribution would be illegal, I believe. -Geoffrey -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.Received on Fri Apr 20 04:44:39 2007
