Hi all, I would like to list the following pending activities. If the owners can give me an estimate as to when we will be able to review this, we can understand the target date for LRM2.3 and also request for an editor at the appropriate time. If I have missed some activities please let me know. I think there is enough and more on this list. 1364 merger is the highest priority and we will try to address the extensions that are still pending (where the discussions are already started or proposals submitted). Key LRM 2.3 edits for 1364-2005 merger: * Chapter 8, Mixed Signal Syntax (this is planned to be handled by Dave Miller, Freescale) * Chapter 9, Scheduling Semantics (Cadence) * Chapter 11, Compiler Directives (Graham Helwig) * Chapter 12, 13: VPI, dont expect much changes on this. * Annex A: BNF updates: reflect the recent changes from individual chapter edits back into the BNF (Graham Helwig) * Annex B: Keywords (not planned or assigned owner) * Annex C (document changes from previous versions) - not yet clear on how to approach this * Anned D: Standard definitions: not much changes * Annex E (spice documentation - Marq Kole - not sure whether this review has been completed) Extensions to the language: * $table_model proposal - proposal currently being discussed. Patrick is working on it. * $idt proposal - I understand that Ken has completed documenting the proposal for the idt mechanism (and I guess the latest version has been posted to the reflector?), needs to set a date to review this. * Proposal on ACMI and changes related to support for multiple power domains - Kevin has already posted a proposal to this issue. Cadence was interested in submitting a proposal on this issue. It will be good to get a date from cadence, to be able to move ahead with the existing proposal. Misc: * Recent errata (atan2, wording of port branch etc) submitted through the reflector Also, as part of the next meeting i would like to go review the Mantis database items. For things that are already assigned it will be good for assigned owners (or chapter owners) to confirm the tickets. For the new ones, its likely some of them are already addressed as part of our document updates, so that we can reflect the state of the individual items accurately in the database. cheers, Sri -- Srikanth Chandrasekaran Design Technology (Tools Development) Freescale Semiconductor Inc.
