Hi all,

We had completed reviewing draft2 of the LRM2.3 version. We have the
following outstanding items that came up either as part of the chapter
review (or after):

- Domain of atan2 differing from C and the range for the input values
(raised by Paul Floyd)
- Typo identified by Baray Fabrice, page 386 Table L-1 (Annex E), ampl
is specified as amp1. I guess Stu can fix this up in the next version.
- Arguments for $random and the current behavior - proposal to add new
system function that will ensure $random is aligned with SystemVerilog
- Updates noted by Ken on following mantis items (0002157, 2158, 2280,
2282, 2283)

Ken,

With regards to your query on whether we can push this as part of
LRM2.3, currently we are at draft2 and I am expecting probably couple of
drafts before we send the document over for approval. So it depends on
couple of things, how quickly you may be able to present your proposal
to the committee, and also how much concern it generates (if any). If it
goes through smoothly then that should not be an issue.

There is bit of pressure to get the LRM2.3 out as soon as possible. Its
been long overdue (which is an understatement) and I would like to send
this out for approval at the earliest.

cheers,
Sri
