I was just reading the draft LRM and came across $simprobe. There needs to be some restriction on this function otherwise it could generate nasty convergence issues. Basically, it is granting access to signal dependent quantities without passing derivative information. It must somehow constrained so that it can only be used in situations where the derivative is not needed, such as in conditionals, crosses, strobes, and the like. If it cannot be restricted, it should be removed. -Ken -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
