Apologies for the delay in the minutes, they were overlooked.

Discussed upcoming SV merge.
* We will extend SV to include the analog extensions (instead of merging that
we did with 1364 into AMS). This is much simpler. As a start Graham will start
looking at the grammar of SV and AMS. Karen has sent across the BNF chapter
only of P1800-2009.

* Might be easier to do a simple extension (with additional chapters)
identifying the mixed signal extensions and appropriate extensions to the grammar.

* Since AMS is integrated with 1364 (which is a subset of SV) the same
integration mechanism would work for P1800 also. However P1800 has newer
objects that might need to be considered in the mixed signal context

* SV scheduling mechanism, new objects introduced in SV need to be considered
as appropriate for usage in AMS

* Discussion on working on SV-AMS merger as P1800 subcommittee for it to be
accepted by IEEE/P1800. The initial analysis and background work to be done
within Accellera along with parallel activities of AMS assertion related
extensions and other AMS enhancements (power supply etc). The SV-AMS final
integration version is planned to be released as P1800 standard (dot or
contained). Intermediate Verilog-AMS releases for other aspects from within
Accellera.

* The new PAR for P1800-2013 includes AMS integration. Plan to discuss this
item with Karen and understand the details of this goal in that PAR.

Also discussed the following Mantis items:

Item 820: - discipline compatibility where abstol's differ. We need to
determine/detail how we want to resolve these types of disciplines. One
possible solution is to just use the tighter abstol.

Item 825: Variable domain. This is a little ambiguous and needs to be
addressed. If a variable is assigned during its declaration, what domain does
it belong to.

Item 935: Branch indexing. Currently there is the limitation that the index to
a branch must be constant (literal/parameter/genvar). At this point we don't
see a need to change this. We can re-investigate this requirement post SV merge.

Item 934: Remove restrictions on analog operators. Was determined that this was
not critical. Move to suspended - we will re-investigate post SV merge.

Item 845: - Restrict usage of type of analog variable that can be used in
'assign' statements. Was felt that all that is needed is a simple sentence in
the LRM indicating the danger of using continuous analog variables in assign
statements.

Item: 814 - Support for global variables using dynamic parameter. Martin to
re-investigate post SV merge to see if this request is addressed with the new
SV features.

Next call will be Jan 2010. Agenda will be sent out prior with specific date/time.

Regards
Dave
