Hi all,
Looks like Graham's email didnt reach the reflector. Please find the
email attached below from Graham. Since it had attachments it looks like
the reflector didn't forward his email through. I have sent across the
documents separately to David and he will upload it to the webpage and
send across the link.

Sri

Hello Sri,
Attached is the preliminary spreadsheet and document detailing the
SV-AMS merger. The "Merged Syntax.xls" spreadsheet details the merging
of the syntax items of the P1800 and AMS BNFs. The "Merging Notes.doc"
document defines the P1800 syntax items with AMS merged syntax.
The Columns in the 'BNF' sheet contained in the spreadsheet file are
briefly described below:
- Column A lists the syntax items found in both the P1800(7jan2010
Draft 9) and AMS(v2.3.1) BNFs
- Column B defines the section the P1800 syntax items are found in
- Column C defines the section the AMS syntax items are found in
- Column D defines if the syntax item is 'AMS' only, ' P1800' only
or is common to both. If syntax item is common to both, then the syntax
item is compared and determined to be either the 'same' or 'different'.
- Column E details which unmodified syntax item is to be used (or
not used) in the merged SV-AMS BNF. When the syntax item is common to
both BNFs and it is the same, the P1800 syntax is always selected.
- Column F details additional AMS modifications to the merged syntax
item (in Column E). These changes are also summarized in the attached
"Merging Notes.doc" document.
- Column G details the questions and issues encountered when
performing the merger.
The "keyword" sheet contained in the spreadsheet file is currently
incomplete since the P1800(7jan2010 Draft 9) keyword list is not
available. As a result, no keyword clashes (as a result of the merger)
can be determined at this time.
Please review the spreadsheet and determine if the merger of the SV-AMS
BNFs.
Regards
Graham
