June Meeting Call for Participation                      Vol II, No. 1

	Enclosed is the Call for Participation for the planned Spring
   Meeting.  Those interested in presenting at this meeting are
   encouraged to contact Paul Hunter or Ed Tsou.  This meeting will
   not have any exhibits nor commercial vendor focus.  The fall
   general meeting will expand on last years and have a complete
   exhibit area as well as vendor presentations.  For those interested
   in attending a related meeting, CHDL '89 immediately preceeds the
   Spring meeting at the same hotel.

Newsletter

	The VHDL Users' Group is starting a newsletter.  We encourage
   everyone to submit news worthy items that are of interest to the
   VHDL community.  Included in the first issue will be an
   introduction to all of the activities listed in the calendar of
   events.

	Our volunteer co-editors are Sean Ogle and Matt Lussier of Hughes
   Aircraft Company.  Please submit all ideas, comments, and articles
   for publication to them.  Articles submitted to the VHDL Users'
   Group address will be forwarded to them also.  They can be reached
