The CS7410 is a comprehensive silicon solution that is reinvigorating the Audio CD decoder market with powerful processing capabilities and advanced features for the music and technology enthusiast. The CS7410 is a total solution that includes CD-based MP3 playback. In addition to the extensive feature set for the CD decoder market, the CS7410 has low power requirements and a small package size which make it a standard setting IC solution for portable electronics. Typical applications for the CS7410 include portable CD-based MP3 players and boomboxes. The CS7410 is versatile enough to support both high-end and low-end solutions. Superior on-chip integration allows the CS7410 to provide seamless processing performance while significantly reducing manufacturing cost. This highly integrated IC includes a 32-bit RISC processor, a 16-bit DSP, 80 Kbytes of internal SRAM, 256 Kbytes of internal ROM, and an integrated 18-bit Audio DAC. In addition to the internal memory, interfaces to external memory for shock protection and custom program storage are available for high-end solutions.
