SeaMAC Family of Sync/Async Drivers Product Description SeaMAC is a family of serial communication software drivers that provides fully buffered input and output to synchronous and asynchronous serial communication ports. SeaMAC supports the Advanced Communication Board (ACB) family of communication cards. The ACB family offers a sync/async communication port in most popular electrical interfaces including RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, V.35, and MIL-188. SeaMAC was designed to operate on an IBM compatible computer. These drivers utilize interrupts and Direct Memory Access (DMA) to obtain the highest level of performance.
