Our Commercial Contracts include everything from point-of-sale (POS) to DDS satellite link projects. Working to solve your problems also involves using our Custom Projects capabilities to create a simple solution. Commercial Contracts: (COTS products)

  • Diebold (ATM) uses four port RS-232 boards for all new systems while retrofitting older systems.
  • Federal Express' system uses 2000 dual RS-422 boards - a repeat order from their original order of 1000 dual RS-422 boards.
  • Prevue Network uses more than four hundred Sealevel Sync/Async boards for satellite transmission and reception for their on-line cable programming guides.
  • The #1 provider of Industrial and Rackmount Computer Systems resells in excess of thirty different boards through their industrial direct marketing catalog.
  • General Instrument uses Sync/Async cards for testing each Primestar unit in its plant.
  • Tyler Business Systems uses multiport RS-232 cards for Internet based point-of-sale systems.
  • Comstream's satellite broadcast/file transfer system uses more than three hundred HDLC/SDLC boards for satellite transmission and reception.
  • LJL BioSystems uses multiport RS-232 cards in bone marrow growth system, revolutionizing the bone marrow transplant process.
  • Western Auto's point-of-sale system uses approximately 1000 four-port RS-232 boards.
  • The #1 provider of datacom and networking products resells (over 5000) RS-422 boards, and more than thirty different Sealevel data communications products through their direct marketing catalog.
  • Norand Corporation's system uses about 1000 single port RS-422/485/current loop cards.
  • The #1 provider of Scientific, Instrumentation, and data acquisition equipment resells twenty-five different Sealevel serial I/O products through their data acquisition catalog.
  • 360 Systems' custom RS-422 card for Windows is used to control digital hard disk recording systems.
  • Foodmaker (Jack in the Box) uses customized RS-422 boards for its point-of-sale system.
  • American Express' Jamaica-to-Salt Lake City scanned receipt transfer uses ACB-v (v.35) and 56 Kbps DDS satellite link.

Custom Projects:

  • IBM's S390 mainframe power supply control board uses a custom-designed PCI 8 port RS-485 card for its enterprise servers.
  • Simplex Time Recorder uses totally automatic RS-485/422 windows compatible boards.
  • We custom designed Industrial Computer Source's family of PCI Bus counter/timer cards.
  • Lunar Corp. uses a custom designed single port PCI RS-232/422/485 card in their high speed X-ray imaging application.
  • For Systems Atlanta we customized their watchdog circuit for RS-485 network.
  • Telebit Corporation's Netblazer router uses custom-developed v.35, EIA-530, RS-232 I/O board.
  • Sears uses a customized board for their video teleconferencing system with ACS / Contel.

Government contracts:

  • An AT&T project uses 1600 dual port RS-232 interface boards.
  • NASA uses various communications cards for S.T.S. missions and simulations.
  • Raytheon's simulation system uses multiport PCI RS-232/422/485 boards.
  • AccuSort uses multiport PC/104 cards for their postal automation systems.
  • Telos uses a custom PC/104 board for a Canadian military project.
  • Batelle Environmental Testing project uses multiport PC/104 boards.
  • Contel Federal Systems uses Sealevel technology on a network project for the US Congress.
  • GPS Navstar (global positioning system): we are the sole source for GPS receiver to PC interface board, plus we've sold 100's of boards to Boeing, General Dynamics, Northrop, Lockheed, and all branches of the US Armed Forces.
  • FAA Oats project with AT&T as prime contractor: approximately 2000 of two different custom interface boards are used.
  • FAA upgrade of old terminals to PCs with Everex: we shipped 1100 current loop interface boards over a six week period.
  • US Air Force's Space Division contracted the development of a specialized RS-422 interface board for the Zenith lap-top. This was sub-contracted with Intermetrics.
  • UNISYS upgrade of the Taiwanese air traffic control system.
  • US Army Signal Corps' field communications for Desert Storm.
  • Raytheon's satellite tracking system board for IBM PC/AT.
  • US Navy's "Raids" project uses four port isolated RS-422/485 boards.
  • US Army's Decision Support System uses multiple synchronous cards.
  • Systems Atlanta Project uses custom developed boards for the FAA's runway visual support system.
  • SPAWAR uses multiple serial I/O adapters for simulation and training purposes.
