LogiCORE PCI32 Spartan

The new LogiCORE PCI32 Spartan PCI Master/Slave interfaces enable designers to integrate a fully compliant PCI interface with dual-port FIFOs and user logic in one Spartan FPGA device at a price below standard PCI chips. Because Xilinx PCI solution eliminates the need for external FPGAs in the system, the cost can be reduced by more than $15 per board in volume production.

Availability

The LogiCORE PCI32 4000 (V2.0) core, for the XC4000 FPGA family, is available now. The PCI32 Design Kit and the LogiCORE PCI32 Spartan core, for the Spartan FPGA family is available in June 1998.
