Problem Description:
CADENCE 9402: GXILINX does not write EXT records to the XNF file
EXT records specify the external I/O of a design

VERSION:  9304 to 9402 (4.3-p1, 4.4-p1)

PLATFORM(s):  Sun, HP

The program GXILINX may not write EXT records to the XNF file if you have
the MACRO parameter set to ON in your gxilinx.cmd file.  Enabling this
parameter tells GXilinx to treat the design as a macro, and to not create EXT
records for it.



Solution 1:

This feature did not work in the 9302 release, but does work in 9304.  The
solution is to simply delete the line, "MACRO ON", in the gxilinx.cmd file.
