Problem Title:
VIEWSIM Error, XC7000 EPLD: Could not find WIR file xc7000:pl22v10.1


Problem Description:
If you try to perform functional simulation on an xc7000 design with
behavioral modules, you will see some sort of error message referring to the
behavioral module.  For example, Viewsim displays a message like:

Error - Could not find WIR file xc7000:pl22v10.1


Solution 1:

Functional simulation uses the XNF or WIR files for each library component.
Behavioral modules (PLD files) do not get converted to XNF format.
Therefore, you can perform only timing simulation on designs containing
behavioral modules.
