SHORT DESCRIPTION:

PPR error 1173, can't find .tpm file for the NOTH_PICMAP cell

ERROR MESSAGE:

*** PPR: ERROR 1173:
   The file "<design>.tpm" associated with the NOTH_PICMAP cell "<design>"
   could not be found.

LONG DESCRIPTION:


PROBLEM:

When PPR 5.0 is run on a design, it produces error 1173, then fails.

CAUSE:

This is caused by a bug in PPR 5.0.

SOLUTION:

PPR 5.0 should be able to complete the design by rerunning it using the
save_files=true option. The bug is fixed in the 5.1 release of PPR.
