Problem Title:
Design Manager 6.0.1: win32s/WinProbe may cause Design Manager to hang
during translate under Windows 3.11



Problem Description:
PROBLEM:
If WinProbe is installed but not running, there have been
cases where Translate will hang and a hard reboot is
necessary.

CAUSE:
There is a conflict with win32s files and what WinProbe
installs.


Solution 1:

SOLUTION:
Turning off Winprobe, cleaning off win32s with the
rmwin32s.bat script and reinstalling win32s from the XACT CD corrects the proble
m.

A batch file to remove win32s, RMWIN32S.BAT, is available
on the Xilinx BBS (408-559-9327).  Additionally, it is
available on the XACT step 6.0 CD under
XBBS\UTILS\RMWIN32S.BAT.

If a program which affects win32s is installed and has an
effect that results in 5.2/6.0 program failures,
remove/turn off the offending program, clean off and
reinstall win32s.
