Product Family: Software
Product Line: Cadence
Problem Title:
Designs previously translated using GXILINX are not compatible with
Concept2xnf, compatibility with XACT 5.x
Problem Description:
Designs previously translated using GXILINX are not compatible with Concept2xnf
Versions: Gxilinx v4.4-p1 and earlier, all versions of Concept2xnf
Platforms: Sun and HP
Solution 1:
GXILINX is the old translator used to translate the pre-Unified Concept schemati
cs to XNF.
If you are modifying a design that was done in 9403 or earlier Concept libraries
, you
must continue to use GXILINX to translate it. Also make sure that you are
using the latest version of GXILINX (currently v4.4-p1).
You will also need to download the following
patch from Cadence Sourcelink or ftp.cadence.com to process the design with XACT
5.x :
PICXilwXACT50.1.t.Z
On Sourcelink, it is accessed via this path:
Solving Problems/Patches and Hot Fixes/9402/pic/PICXilwXACT50.1.t.Z
On the ftp site, navigate to: patches/9402/pic/PICXilwXACT50.1.t.Z
