In Windows 95, Prom File Formatter menus do not function correctly

Record #890

Product Family: Software

Product Line: FPGA Core

Problem Title:
In Windows 95, Prom File Formatter menus do not function correctly

Problem Description:
The Prom File Formatter (PFF) has a Directories box on the right hand side
of the window. This is where the user can select which directory he wishes
to be in. In Win '95, this selection fails to work correctly in two ways.

1. Only the .bit files found upon entering PFF are displayed, regardless of
the where in the directory structure you try to go. For example, if you
change directories to go up a level, the same .bit files will continue
to be displayed.

2. If you attempt to move from the directory that the PFF found the .bit
files in, then you won't be able to use those files that it found originally.

Solution 1:

If you are using PFF in Win '95, make sure that any .bit files you
need are in the selected REV (revision) directory before you enter
PFF from Design Manager.

If you need multiple different bit files, you will have to copy the
required .bit files to this directory.
