XC9500 Fitter Error : Fatal error tnt.10049; out of stack buffers


Problem Description:
When processing a 9500 design with the 9500 Pre-Release software Ver 1.0.0 you m
ay encounter an error as follows :

Fatal Error TNT.10049: Out of stack buffers, CS:EIP are in error values:
Err values = 0000000Fh 0001F12Dh

The fitter will soon fail with the error :

vmF2010:<design>.vm6,Cannot open file

Modifying DOS stacks and buffers doesn't seem to have any affect on this error.

This appears to be a bug in the Pre-Release software which has been fixed in the
 next release, XACT-CPLD Version 6.0.0 XC9500 Core Tools and Interfaces (also kn
own as Pre-Release Ver 2.0).


Solution 1:

Upgrade the XC9500 software to the current release entitled : XACT-CPLD Version
6.0.0 XC9500 Core Tools and Interfaces for IBM PC or compatibles, Sun 4 and HP 7
00 Workstations.
