Problem Title:
XACT-CPLD: hi12:[Error]Keyword MC9500_PTERM_LIMIT in the CTL file is
invalid.
Problem Description:
Using XACT-CPLD, the Design Manager may fail in the Implement Phase
with the following error:
Optimizer/Partitioner Version 6.0.0
(c) Copyright 1989-1995 Xilinx Inc. All rights reserved.
hi12:[Error]Keyword MC9500_PTERM_LIMIT in the CTL file is invalid.
hi12:[Error]Keyword MC9500_INPUT_LIMIT in the CTL file is invalid.
Reading 9k.xff
hi7:[Error]Loading the XNF file failed.
Please correct the design XNF file and try again
Solution 1:
This can happen if the PATH and XACT variable are specified
incorrectly.
When targetting an XC9500 device using XACT-CPLD (DS560),
the XACT9000 directory MUST be before any other Xilinx software
in the PATH and XACT variable.
Example:
PATH <path_to_xact9000>;<any_other_paths>....
set xact=<path_to_xact9000>;<any_other_paths>
where <path_to_xact9000> is the location of the XACT-CPLD
software. By default, this will be c:\xact9000.
