General Description:

The ES-Verilog interface on the XACT 5.2.1 CD contains support
for the 2k, 3k, 4k, 4KE, 5k and 7k architectures.   This
interface (translators and libraries) is for use with the
XACT 5.x flow only.

The generic Verilog SIMPRIM libraries and NGD2VER should be
used with the Xilinx M1 flow.


Solution 1:

The ES-Verilog interface is available in archive form on the
XACT 5.2.1 CD under the xbbs/swhlp directory.

xil_vlog_intfc.sun4.tar.Z.uu  (Sun4)
xil_vlog_intfc.hp7.tar.Z.uu   (HP7)

This interface is not installed by the graphical workstation install.

Note that these archives are also available on the Xilinx ftp site at this locat
ion:

ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/swhelp/cadence

On the ftp site, the archives are tar'd and compressed, but
not uuencoded:

To install:

uudecode <archivename>.<platform>.tar.Z.uu
uncompress <archivename>.<platform>.tar.Z
tar xvf <archivename>.<platform>.tar
