While running EDIF2NGD on a Viewlogic generated EDIF file you might get this war
ning:
WARNING:0 - GLOBAL property on a net other than power or ground - ignoring
	....On or above line 696 in file testsync.edn.

This means that the EDIF netlister is writing out the simulation model.
If you ignore this warning, you will run into additional problems later since
the builtin components won't be recognized.

It could also mean that the Global property has been attached to a signal or
component in the schematic.


Solution 1:

Ensure that all the design elements placed on the schematic are taken from the
Xilinx family library, not from the builtin, xbuiltin or simprims libraries.

The Global attribute on signals or components is not supported for Xilinx
designs.
