ProCapture displays CB4CLED.1 symbol pins 'D0' and 'Q0' as diagonals
Record #1334
Product Family: Software
Product Line: ViewLogic
Problem Title:
ProCapture displays CB4CLED.1 symbol pins 'D0' and 'Q0' as diagonals
Problem Description:
When calling out a CB4CLED symbol from either the XC4000 or
XC5200 Viewlogic libraries in ProCapture, you will find a
symbol whose 'D0' and 'Q0' pins appear as diagonals on either
side of the symbol block.
If you perform a Tools->Check->Sheet command, you will get
0 errors and 0 warnings.
However, pins 'D0' and 'Q0' are not usable.
This is a bug in the XACTstep v5.2.1 XC5200 Viewlogic libraries.
Solution 1:
Workaround:
First, save the symbol CB4CLED.1 to your PRIMARY directory:
1. Open the symbol CB4CLED.1 (from the XC5200 library) in the
ProCapture schematic window.
2. Go to File->Save As...
3. Under the 'Design Name' field, change the alias from
'XC5200' to 'PRIMARY'.
4. Click 'OK' button to save the symbol. 'CB4CLED.1' is now
part of your PRIMARY directory.
5. On the symbol block, delete the two diagonal lines and the
associated labels of 'D0' and 'Q0'.
6. Redraw pins on the symbol for 'D0' and 'Q1', and relabel.
7. Go to File->Save.
8. Close the ProCapture schematic window.
Next, save the schematic CB4CLED.1 (the schematic that is underneath the symbol
CB4CLED.1) to your PRIMARY directory:
1. Open the schematic CB4CLED.1 (from the XC5200 library) in
the ProCapture schematic window.
2. Go to File -> Save As...
3. Under the 'Design Name' field, change the alias from
'XC5200' to 'PRIMARY'.
4. Click 'OK' button to save the schematic. The schematic is
now part of your PRIMARY directory.
5. Close the ProCapture schematic window.
