Foundation Install Error: VXD driver Daikon.386 missing


Problem Description:
When running Xact from Foundation Project Manager, this error comes up:

Error:	VXD driver Daikon.386 necessary to run this program has not
	been installed or is not running.


Solution 1:

Add this line in the c:\windows\system.ini file under the [386Enh] header.

device=daikon.386

Make sure this file exists in the c:\windows\system directory.
The file is found on the XACTstep 6.0 CD under XACT\Windows\System.
